HEATING SYSTEM

The MicroWirePRO® elements heat:

• the entire length of all fingers
• the thumb
• the back of the hand

The temperature is controlled directly using the integrated push button on the glove.

Maximum Xtreme heat output is disabled at the factory and can be permanently enabled if needed, following the Gerbing instructions. 

POWER SUPPLY

For long motorcycle tours:
Direct 12V connection via battery cable and long Y-cable. This provides continuous power.

With Gerbing Premium Heated Jacket Liner:
The gloves can be connected directly to the integrated cables in the jacket sleeves.

Wireless:
Optional Gerbing batteries can be used directly in the designated pockets in the gloves.

For maximum heat output, either a 12V motorcycle battery or the Gerbing Xtreme 12V Battery Kit is required. With 7V batteries, only medium heat output is available.

NOTE ON USING HEATED APPAREL

Heated apparel generates active heat. Please note the following:

• Always start at the lowest heat setting and increase the temperature gradually as needed.
• Everyone reacts differently to warmth. Sensitivity to heat can also vary by area of the body.
• If the warmth feels uncomfortable or too intense, reduce the heat setting or turn the product off.

This lets you enjoy comfortable warmth while avoiding excessive heat exposure.

Heated gloves should not create significant pressure around the knuckles. If you are between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.

Measure your chest circumference at the fullest part of your chest.

Gerbing Heated Jacket Liners are intentionally cut close to the body. Stretch panels still provide plenty of freedom of movement. For the best heating performance, the jacket should fit as close to the body as possible.

If you are between two sizes or prefer a more comfortable fit, we recommend choosing the larger size.

How to measure correctly

Measure your waist circumference where your motorcycle trousers normally sit.

The measurements shown correspond to the actual waistband circumference of the trousers before adjusting the hook-and-loop fasteners. The waistband can subsequently be tightened by approximately 10 cm using the hook-and-loop fasteners. The elastic material also allows for some stretch.

If your measurement falls between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.
