Our Story
Motorrad Venture was not created at a desk, but over countless kilometers in the saddle.
After several years as Export Manager at SW-MOTECH, Louis founded Motorrad Venture in 2017. It all began as the official Enduristan importer for France. Over the years, Motorrad Venture developed there into a recognized specialist in high-quality adventure gear. Shortly afterward, the German online shop was launched with a clear goal: to give motorcyclists access to carefully selected premium products and personal, expert advice.
However, the most important experience did not come from the office, but from numerous motorcycle trips. Whether Alaska, Australia, Patagonia, Morocco, the western United States, or many tours across Europe—usually alone—every journey showed which gear performs well under real-world conditions and what truly matters on the road.
Today, Motorrad Venture is a family-run company with a carefully curated online shop and a showroom in Central Hesse, where personal consultations are available by appointment.

That’s why we select every brand and product with the utmost care. Our many years of collaboration with KLIM from Idaho, USA, are a good example. Louis regularly visits the headquarters, knows the team and company management personally, and remains in close contact with the people behind the brand to this day. This close relationship provides valuable insights into the development and philosophy behind the products—and enables advice that goes far beyond technical data or product descriptions.
Our goal is simple: We want to help ensure that every motorcycle trip is a success—whether it’s your daily commute, a weekend tour, or the adventure of a lifetime.

In addition to our online shop, we have a showroom in Central Hesse with a wide selection of products for direct comparison and testing. After making an appointment, we take the time to provide you with personal advice.
Try on different sizes and cuts, compare different product lines, and understand the differences between the individual models, as well as Gore-Tex laminates, ventilation systems, and protectors. Experience colors and designs in person instead of only on a screen, feel the materials and weight in your hands, and sit on a motorcycle wearing the complete gear to get a realistic sense of the fit and comfort.
