The Hippo Hands Alcan are the largest and warmest version of the Hippo Hands motorcycle hand covers. They were designed for adventure and touring riders who want to keep riding in extreme cold, rain, and on long winter tours. With a depth of 12", they provide maximum coverage and significantly more weather protection than the more compact Hippo Hands models.

Available as the Alcan Standard or Alcan CF (Clear Front) for motorcycles with integrated turn signals in the handguards.

Alcan Standard

Classic fully enclosed version for motorcycles with standard handguards.

Alcan CF – Clear Front

Same construction and protection, but with a transparent front window so that turn signals integrated into the handguards remain visible.

Especially suitable for motorcycles such as the BMW R 1300 GS and other models with integrated turn signals in the handguards.

COMPATIBILITY

The Alcan were originally developed for BMW GS models, but fit numerous larger adventure and sport-touring motorcycles with hand/brush guards, including comparable models such as the BMW GS, KTM Adventure, Honda Africa Twin, and Harley-Davidson Pan America.

For handguards with integrated turn signals, the Alcan CF variant must be selected.

INSTALLATION

The Alcan slide directly over the existing handguards and are secured with hook-and-loop straps. The neoprene closure is then wrapped around the handlebar and fastened. No tools or additional hardware are required for installation.
