Gerbing BMW/Hella 12V socket adapter for heated clothing

With the Gerbing BMW/Hella socket adapter, you can power your Gerbing heated clothing directly from your motorcycle or vehicle’s 12V socket - without a permanent connection to the vehicle battery.

The adapter is compatible with two socket types: with the red cap attached, it fits a standard 12V cigarette lighter socket. Simply unscrew the cap to convert it to a Hella/DIN plug, commonly used on BMW, Triumph, and KTM motorcycles.

The coaxial connector lets you connect compatible Gerbing 12V heated products, such as gloves, jackets, pants, or heated insoles. The vehicle socket must provide sufficient power for the heating product in question.

NOTE

On motorcycles with a CAN bus system, the maximum load capacity of the onboard socket may be limited. Depending on the vehicle model, the available power may be sufficient only for heated gloves, but not for higher-power heated products such as jackets or pants.

Before use, check the maximum current capacity of your vehicle socket and the power requirements of your heated clothing. If the socket does not provide sufficient power, a direct connection to the vehicle battery is required.
