Keis heated vests – how they work
The Keis heated vests (models V501RP and Lady B501WRP) are specially designed for outdoor activities on foot – whether hiking, observing, skiing, or everyday use. All important steps are also shown in our explanatory videos.
1. Power supply
Unlike motorcycle jackets, the vests can easily be operated with compact Keis lithium-ion batteries 5A.
Since there is no cooling wind when walking, a lower power is sufficient to generate intense warmth. Therefore, small, lightweight batteries are possible, making everyday life easier.
2. Heating system
The heart of every Keis vest: continuously developed since 2007 and unmatched in comfort and reliability.
-
Large-area heating elements on the back, chest area, and collar (except for the V501RP without collar heating)
-
Even heat distribution over the entire upper body
-
Use of carbon microfibers for optimal heat conduction
The result: intense warmth, warm vital areas, improved blood circulation – and thus more well-being.
3. Application
The heated vests are under the main jacket and over a thin base layer (e.g., T-shirt) worn.
They replace sweaters or fleece, do not constrict the body, and improve blood circulation.
The outer material is windproof and at the same time breathable to allow moisture to escape.
4. Temperature control
The vests are delivered without temperature controller.
-
Some users are satisfied with a fixed heating level
-
Others want to regulate temperature and battery life
Optionally, a temperature controller (standard or Bluetooth) can be connected:
-
Long press on the middle button → turn on
-
Short press → change heating level
-
Long press → turn off
