Keis heated gloves – how they work

Keis heated motorcycle gloves provide reliable warmth and protection on every ride – whether in the city, on long tours, or under extreme winter conditions. All models operate with the same heating principle but differ in cut, features, and application.

 

1. Models at a glance

  • G901, G701, G601 → year-round, long cuff over the jacket, space for 4A batteries

  • G701S → short, without battery pocket, ideal for a direct connection to the Keis jacket

  • G301 → extremely warm, high cuff with battery pocket, perfect for snowmobiling or tough winter use

  • All models are CE-certified according to EN 13594:2015 (Level 1 KP), with the G601 even Level 2 KP.

  • The model G801 Outdoor is made for outdoor activities but is not suitable for motorcycling as it lacks safety certification.

  • Patented Keis heating technology – thinner than classic winter gloves

  • Activation by button press on the back of the hand (3 heating levels)

3. Construction of the gloves – 4 layers

  1. Outer layer – protection

    • G701 & G701S: ballistic nylon + spandex (abrasion-resistant & elastic)

    • G301 & G601: leather + ballistic nylon

     

  2. Second layer – waterproofing

    • Hipora® membrane: waterproof & breathable

    • Sweat transport, water resistance tested

     

  3. Third layer – insulation

    • 3M Thinsulate™: thin, flexible, yet very warm

     

  4. Fourth layer – heating system

    • Heating elements from wrist to fingertips

    • Even warmth, no hot spots

    • Inner layer of polyester for comfortable skin contact

     

4. Temperature control

  • Control via button on the back of the hand

  • 3 heating levels selectable

  • Easy operation even with gloves

 

5. Power supply options

  1. Two 4A Li-ion batteries (2×2A)

    • Integrable into cuff pockets (except G701S)

    • Runtime 2–4 hours depending on heating level

    • Ideal for city rides

     

  2. One large 5A Li-ion battery

    • Runtime 3–6 hours depending on heating level

    • Connection via Y-cable (included)

    • Battery portable in jacket or hip pouch

     

  3. Vehicle battery (12 V)

    • Direct connection cable included

    • Adapters (SAE, KET, cigarette lighter) available separately

    • Perfect for motorcycle, quad, snowmobile, or convertible

     

6. Connections for additional clothing

  • Connection possible with Keis jacket or vest

  • When buying gloves + vest: connection cable included for free

  • Keis jackets (e.g. J501RP, J505RP, and J601RP) with integrated sleeve lines for direct connection

One single power source is enough for all connected garments.
